Confirmation Class

Confirmation means " with firm-ness." Means to make firm or solid what has gone before-what our parents, families, church, and God have done. We are no longer children. We are youth. We are making a passage towards being adults. We no longer depend solely on our parents' decision in matters of faith. We are old enough to contribute to the life of our congregation and to live our faith in the world.

 Confirmation, or profession of faith, is for children and youth that are in the sixth grade or above, that have not yet confimed. Confirmation will begin Sunday, February 28, 2010. It will conclude Sunday, March 28, 2010 with the Confirmation Service during the 10:50 service.

 Confirmation class will meet each Sunday in the office of Sister Mary. Sister Mary will facilitate the class decision. For more information, contact Jennifer Pike at 268-7440 or jennifer.stpaul@ymail.com.

Sunday, February 28, 2010- meeting in Pastor's office with Sister Mary at 9:45

Sunday, March 7, 2010- meeting in Pastor's office with Sister Mary at 9:45

Sunday, March 14, 2010- meeting in Pastor's office with Sister Mary at 9:45

Sunday, March 21, 2010- meeting in Pastor's office with Sister Mary at 9:45

Friday, March 26, 2010- Parents and confirmand meet at church for confirmation prepartion at 6:00 PM in the Education Wing.

Sunday, March 28, 2010- meeting with Sister Mary in the Santurary for confirmation rehersal at 9:45, Confirmation Sevice at 10:50. Followed by a dinner in celebration of the Confirmands.
